Position Overview:
Johnson is a leading global fitness company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team, focused on hiring for hourly positions and entry level salary positions with occasional recruitment of professional roles. This individual will work closely with the Senior Recruiter to source, screen, and hire candidates across various departments. Additionally, this role will manage postings on the company's social media channels to attract talent and increase employer branding. Responsibilities:
Recruiting Strategies and Sourcing:
•Collaborate closely with the Senior Recruiter to understand hiring needs, candidate profiles, and the overall recruitment strategy.
•Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly positions, entry level salary positions, and occasional professional roles including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
•Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other platforms.
•Manages relationships with staffing vendors.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates to create a talent pipeline for future openings.
Job Posting and Advertising:
•Assist with writing compelling job descriptions and post on various job boards, career sites, and social media platforms.
•Ensure job postings are accurate and reflective of the company's needs and values.
Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
•Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
•Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, work experience, and cultural fit.
•Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
•Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
•Provide guidance on hiring best practices, interview techniques, and candidate selection.
•Maintain open communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure alignment.
Data Management and Reporting:
•Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in Paylocity.
•Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate sources, and overall hiring efficiency.
•Ensure all recruitment processes are in compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Community and Networking:
•Attend job fairs, networking events, and career days to promote the company and attract candidates.
•Build relationships with local schools, community organizations, and staffing agencies to support recruitment efforts.
Support Senior Recruiter:
•Support the Senior Recruiter in sourcing and screening candidates for professional and more specialized positions as needed.
•Backs up the Senior Recruiter when they are out of the office.
Other Job Functions:
•May support HR Generalist onboarding when schedules require
•May assist the HR and Admin team members in coordinating employee events.
•Other projects as required
Requirements
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in HR or other related field required
•2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, including hourly positions preferred
Other Requirements:
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requisitions.
•Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
•Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)/Paylocity is preferred
•Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) for recruitment and branding purposes.
•Driver's license required for infrequent local and domestic travel to visit other company locations that are being staffed or to attend career fair events
