Drive the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including SEC reporting and compliance with GAAP and SOX 404 requirements. Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting policies and procedures. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and maintain strong working relationships. Manage and mentor a tenured and qualified finance/accounting team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. Advise on financial strategies, risk management, and long-term financial planning to support business growth and success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles. Proven experience leading a finance/accounting team in a company's aggressive growth period. Thorough knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX 404 compliance. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with external auditors and managing the audit process. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
