Come Learn, Play, and Grow with us Position Overview: We are seeking an administrative assistant to our center's Educational Center Director. Tentative Start Date: January 15, 2025 On site training provided. Website: https://thelearningexperience.com/centers/staten-island-st-george/ Schedule: Administrative role to support pre-opening operations Pre-Opening Administrative Assistant Role: ($20 hourly Commission for every family enrolled) Administrative position with the option to be Lead Teacher after opening if chosen. Assist in preparing the center for its grand opening, ensuring everything is ready for a smooth launch. Serve as the Educational Center Director Designee, helping with administrative duties such as record-keeping, staff support, and other operational tasks. On Site Training from the Center Director Lead tours for prospective families and handle inquiries about enrollment with warmth and professionalism. Assist in generating and following up on enrollment leads, including outreach calls to potential families. Qualifications: Education: Minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or currently enrolled in a study program. Experience: At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred (minimum of 6 months required). 1-3 years of customer service experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) in early childhood education. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Skills: Ability to create meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, energetic, and adaptable personality with a passion for early childhood education. Ability to balance administrative duties with teaching responsibilities.
