COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS - $4.25 - 2nd Shift - $8.00 - 3rd Shift - $4.75 - Weekend Under the supervision of a radiologist, and direction of the Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on a multi-detector CT scanner. Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy, performs CTA's and inject contrast media where applicable. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results. Minimum Education - High School Graduate or equivalent - Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum Work Experience - Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience - Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience Required Licenses/Certifications - Must possess current Vt. state RT license - BLS Certification through American Heart Association - Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure - CT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment) Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities - Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. - Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
