Tyler is seeking an experienced marketing leader to direct our Marketing Shared Services function. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing leaders, cross-functional teams, and other Tyler leaders to fuel a data-driven marketing engine, streamline marketing processes, increase operational efficiency, and optimize resource and investment allocations that increase marketing ROI and maximize business impact. Tyler's Marketing Shared Services team is a centralized corporate function responsible for providing specialized marketing expertise and supporting various business units and corporate functions across the company through an in-house center-of-excellence.This senior leader will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various critical marketing functions including branding and creative, marketing enablement, marketing technology, data & analytics, digital marketing, and website experience.This key leadership position reports directly to Tyler's Chief Marketing Officer and is a member of the marketing senior leadership team. This role will require strong business and financial acumen to ensure alignment with Tyler's growth priorities. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of marketing and leadership experience with a proven track record for delivering measurable business results.This position leads a mission-critical marketing function. The Marketing Shared Services team acts as a central hub of expertise and support for the entire marketing organization. Excelled delivery of marketing services and operations ensures consistency in branding, messaging, and execution while driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization's marketing efforts. The Vice President, Marketing Shared Services will need to architect and communicate a clear vision, build support and momentum in newly defined strategies, effectively influence change, encourage innovative thinking and foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities- Marketing Operations
- Oversee the Marketing Operations team, which includes brand & creative services, and marketing enablement.
Benchmark Tyler's current marketing activities, performance, and investment against industry best practices, and through gap analysis, develop roadmaps for improvements and business cases for undertaking necessary changes.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand creative assets through Tyler's workflow project management system.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns through Tyler's marketing automation platform, from planning and strategy development to implementation and analysis.
- Oversee the Marketing Operations team, which includes brand & creative services, and marketing enablement.
- MarTech & Data
- Oversee the marketing technology, website experience, and marketing data teams.
Direct the orchestration and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to reach and engage target audiences with relevant information.
Oversee the marketing technology procurement and implementation process including evaluating, implementing, and optimizing marketing systems, tools, and technology platforms.
Spearhead cross-function collaboration efforts for data initiatives including data integration, data hygiene, database management, and data acquisition.
Oversee the tracking and analysis of marketing performance metrics across various campaigns and initiatives including creating and delivering comprehensive reports to provide executive stakeholders and marketing leaders with insights into marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Oversee the Tyler corporate website administration and experience.

- Digital Marketing
- Oversee the activation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and tactics through strategic use of email marketing, social media, SEM, webinars, advertising & sponsorships.
Direct the execution of comprehensive digital marketing and advertising strategies that align with Tyler's marketing objectives and business growth targets.
Build depth and breadth of subject-matter-expertise across Tyler's digital marketing channels.
Oversee the active analysis of digital marketing trends, audience insights, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and audience targeting across digital marketing channels.
Lead strategic partnerships with external advertising agencies.
- Oversee the activation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and tactics through strategic use of email marketing, social media, SEM, webinars, advertising & sponsorships.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in a marketing field, with a focus on shared services, operations, technology, or data
- 10+ years of proven experience in marketing leadership roles
- Working experience in CRM solutions, marketing automation, and extended experience working in a digital marketing environment
- Strong understanding of marketing best practices and the ability to lead and mentor marketing teams effectively
- Expertise in marketing technology and analytics platforms, including marketing automation tools, customer data platforms, and CRM systems
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
- Experience managing annual operating budgets of $5M+
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Must be self-motivated, work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and within group settings, and have excellent time-management skills
- Strong collaborator with exceptional relationship-building skills
- Intellectual curiosity, including an interest in and capacity for highly complex technical issues
