Join us as a Business Operations & Strategy Leader within Salesforce, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Strategic Events organization's agility and efficiency. This high-impact position supports our leadership team by optimizing operations to adapt to changing business directives, ensuring we remain competitive and a high-functioning organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency & Agility: Develop and implement processes that enhance operational efficiency, allowing the organization to quickly adapt to changing business focus and directives. Develop and manage org-wide resources/templates (e.g. SSOT exec walking deck, funding requests, etc).
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with leadership to maintain a strategic overview of headcount, contractors, and full-time employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Deadline Management: Ensure timely execution of critical business processes such as check-ins, review cycles, and performance management, keeping the organization on track and engaged with company initiatives.
  • Salesforce Integration: Incorporate key elements of Salesforce activities and deadlines into operational plans and templates with deadlines, ensuring cohesive engagement across the organization.
  • Executive Presentation Support: Work closely with deck-building team members to translate strategic visions into impactful presentations for executive leadership in a nimble and ad hoc manner.
  • Annual Planning & Operational Processes: Support the annual planning cycle and other operational processes to align team goals with overall business objectives, support ad hoc collection of funding requests, and process documentation and maintenance.
  • Executive Liaison & Actionable Planning: Partner directly with the SVP to translate high-level executive directives into actionable plans, ensuring clear and timely communication and collaboration across stakeholders across the Marketing and Employee Success Organizations to ensure key stakeholders are engaged, track progress and close the feedback loop on strategic initiatives and deliver data-driven updates for the broader organization (V2MOM updates, MRP, etc).

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or similar roles, preferably within a marketing or technology organization.
  • Proven track record in driving operational efficiencies and improving processes in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of creating clear, compelling presentations for senior leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Ability to foster collaboration in a matrixed environment, aligning teams around common goals.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce products and organizational structure is a plus.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,800 to $320,800. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,000 to $267,400. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $294,100. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,800 to $320,800. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $294,100. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
