Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team

at Miami Valley in Dayton, OH

Responsibilities:

About the Team

  • Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
  • The team will consist of 2 Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Round and go model with call from home until evening.
  • Pediatric nurse practitioner or Neonatal nurse practitioner present to round with Hospitalist.

About the Opportunity

  • Work with Family medicine residents from Wright State University and participate in resident education.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
  • Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
