Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary : This positionserves as a Coordinator for a multidisciplinary, hospital-based alternatesentencing program for youth and adults with charges related to impaireddriving and substance misuse. The Program lead will be responsible for workingwith schools and community partners to develop, implement, and lead groupsessions. The Coordinator works with the Manager in the development of programservices, maintaining program data reports, and providing information for allprogrammatic and grant related reports.

Core Responsibilities: Plan, implement,and coordinate existing programs and services under supervision of the Manager and in alignment with the mission and values of the organization. Assist the Manager to plan, implement and coordinate existing programs and services Participates in onboard and training GRACY Facilitators along with the Manager. Ensure staff complete required data entry per requirements in data tracking systems and electronic records programs. Submits data reports to the Manager for review. Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with VCU Health internal partners and community partners. Oversee client and community support, requests, and other unit needs. Manage all equipment and property assigned to the unit. Lead GRACY Sessions with facilitator. Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Standards:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or another human service field OR 5-7 years of experience in the field OR some combination of education and years of experience. Experience in substance use disorder. Experience in facilitation of groups. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. The ability to work some evenings (1-2) per week and weekends (1-2) per month. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU. Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office (Word. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services or Public Health Related Field. 3-5 years of experience working with AOD use disorder or group counseling Minimum of 3 years managerial experience with direct reports. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information for senior leaders. Ability to oversee team training and access university systems Fluent in Spanish
