A day in the life. As our Data Service Delivery Manager on the Production Support team, you’ll provide strategic direction and leadership to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies. You will manage a team of Data Engineers and BI Developers to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring that data visualizations are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of end-users. You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, monitor data environments for optimal performance, and implement cost optimization strategies to manage data service expenditures effectively. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: 15+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related fields, with deep expertise in designing and building distributed data systems and large-scale data warehouses. Over 10 years of experience building large-scale data analytics platforms using real-time streaming analytics, data warehouse, data lakes, Data Pipelines, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools at scale in both public. Prior experience in leading a support team of Data Engineers and BI Developers, focusing on improving scalability, resilience, and availability. Experience with Azure cloud services. Experience in monitoring, managing, and supporting the Azure Data Lakehouse & Analytics platform. Strong leadership skills to mentor a team of data platform engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Proficiency in a breadth of Data Platforms, Data Integration tools, Databases, Big Data Platforms, and Cloud-based data platforms. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and conduct executive-level presentations. These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: Knowledge of Agency Management systems like Applied EPIC and Vertafore Sagitta, Benefit Point is a major plus. Salary Information: The applicable base salary range for this role is $137,500 to $240,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
