Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Setup, operate, and clear packaging line equipment and/or ancillary support equipment to meet efficiency expectations. Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, and labeling systems to include ink, glue, and paper. Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process. Segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specifications and separate rejected items. Conduct inventory counts on finished and rejected packaged items. Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards. Monitor the packaging production line to forestall potential bottlenecks, pile-ups, jams, glue not sticking properly or labels being stamp in the wrong location. Place daily emphasis on meeting production standards, achieving product quality standards, and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. Know and follow cGMP practices, safe work habits, plant dress code, hygiene standard,s and housekeeping requirements unusual to the work area and job classification. Perform light-duty maintenance work and general housekeeping in the area and assist maintenance or other team members in area.
