Productboard is seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record to build and manage our global deal desk and quote-to-cash functions. In this role, you will be the cross-functional leader of our quote-to-cash process that touches sales, finance, IT, accounting, security, product, and legal, and partner closely with key stakeholders and our leadership team to define and align on establishing effective guardrails around commercial terms that are beneficial to the business. Support GTM teams in deal structuring, contract reviews and approvals. You will do this through assisting them through deal reviews, quoting, order management, provisioning & billing. Improve and scale the deal desk business processes through collaboration with GTM leadership, operations, finance, accounting, legal, security, product, and IT to ensure accurate and expeditious deal cycles. Analyze discounting and non-standard term patterns to drive recommendations and optimization of our customer lifetime value (CLV). Review, approve and document all non-standard commercial terms to comply with company and revenue objectives. Manage Productboard’s billing and cash collections. Own the commission calculations for Productboard’s employees with variable comp. Oversee and manage our Quote-to-Cash process and systems to drive velocity, accuracy, and efficiency at scale. Lead, own, and deliver critical cross-functional Quote-to-Cash initiatives and projects to include system implementations, operational improvements, and new product rollouts. About you
Minimum of 10+ years of combined experience in deal desk, pricing, billing, collections, and commission calculations, in enterprise B2B SaaS. Experience building and leading a deal desk and/or QTC function. Hands-on leader with solid understanding of sales operations processes, software pricing/discounting, contracting, and negotiation strategy. Deep understanding of SaaS business metrics and key issues affecting deal desk around deal structuring, bookings policies and revenue recognition. Customer-focused with ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume. Must have experience directly working with Quote-to-Cash stakeholders in gathering requirements and developing scalable solutions. Strong communication and project management skills are a must – the ability to understand and articulate complex challenges and obtain buy-in from stakeholders to drive towards a solution; experience presenting to C-level and Senior Leadership.
