The successful candidate will bring experience in designing, developing, testing software systems with a mindset of contributing to open-source projects or willingness to do so and have deep expertise in algorithms and data structures. You will be working with gRPC, protobuf, open config, and model-based network manageability protocols (e.g., GNMI, GNOI, GNSI). Someone in this role will have interest in designing, automation of testing and be passionate about developing tools and frameworks to enable automation at a large scale for tier 1 web customers. You will bring experience with Linux containerization technologies, traffic generation tools/techniques, networking technologies, automated testing frameworks, and continuous integration practices. Have flexibility and comfort working in a very fast-paced, agile environment on latest technologies. Strive to explore industry trends and best-practices, and academic research to apply new insights. Enjoy solving complex customer issues that require a deep understanding of network protocols and systems-level concepts, Customer experience: highly skilled in Reproduction and debugging of customer issues. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Software Engineer that wants to develop their technical skills by solving technical problems for our Service provider customers. You would play a critical role in the team developing and automating solution testing, as well as taking part in integration, performance, and end-to-end test activities for critical solutions. Responsibilities would include:

Partnering with architects, technical marketing, product management, development teams to define and implement comprehensive test plans. Conducting test case and code reviews to validate test scenario accuracy and coverage. Modernizing and automating testing to improve overall code quality and automation code base. Providing technical expertise and influencing all aspects of test and automation development with the team. Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in feature level testing and system level understanding of access, edge, core routing platforms and software stacks. Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 4+ or a Master’s degrees with 2+ years of experience in computer science engineering. Experience in networking fundamentals and protocols, L2 to L7 technologies. Automation experience with Python, C, C++ or Go programming language. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience addressing issues related to computational complexity, time and space optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with BGP, Segment-routing, EVPN or SP customer deployments. Contributions to Open-Source Test Automation would be highly desired. Familiarity with the SW development cycle and software engineering. Excellent teamwork and people skills. Self-motivated and highly ambitious. Familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development/debugging.
