Producer , reporting into the Executive Producer (and dotted line into Chief Product Officer), you will support both the creative and operational strategies for the delivery of shows and the development of the user-facing side of our platform. This role combines expertise in live entertainment production and game development with a keen interest in emerging AR/VR/XR technologies. You will oversee and facilitate the end-to-end production of virtual experiences while collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to evolve our platform. A significant aspect of this role will be based on-ground at our Culver City studio location, where you’ll have a hand in day-to-day operations and ensure seamless execution. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, where leadership, adaptability, and creative problem-solving are essential. Responsibilities Plan & Create:

Design and integrate visually engaging environments, adhering to style guides and solving technical challenges. Collaborate:

Work with design, technical, and engineering teams to shape early block-outs into cohesive, performance-ready spaces. Mentor & Lead:

Train and mentor team members, sharing expertise to elevate the overall quality of work. Optimize & Debug:

Oversee optimization efforts and troubleshoot issues identified during testing. Communicate & Manage:

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on tasks and objectives. Track progress using project management tools and oversee the work of outsource partners. Innovate & Refine:

Develop new workflows and improve existing tools to streamline efficiency and support high-quality outputs. Required Qualifications A portfolio or demo reel showcasing detailed, engaging environment designs. Proficiency with Unreal Engine tools, including the Material Editor, VFX, lighting, and camera systems. Solid understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) systems and leading 3D modeling software. Experience with mobile or VR environmental art development. At least 1 shipped AAA title in a Senior Environment Artist role. 5+ years of environment creation experience using Unreal Engine. Desired Qualifications Experience with data management tools like Perforce. Strong foundation in traditional arts and modular workflows for architecture and assets. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage priorities. Familiarity with rapid prototyping and delivering polished experiences. Passion for music, live events, and creating musically reactive visuals. Interest in staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $180,000

**Salaries at Wave are based on a few factors including a candidate's location (to account for any cost of living differences), their experience level and their performance during the interview process. On top of a cash salary, we also include company equity in the form of stock options with every full-time offer as well as other benefits (insurance, 401k, unlimited PTO, laptop/desktop and other IT equipment as needed, subsidized monthly home internet, etc). Salary ranges at Wave are determined based on the job requirements, experience level and market data attained from compensation surveys.
