About Us Industrial Solutions was founded in 1996 in Long Island City, NY. 20 years later, Industrial Solutions has become a fully functioning Mechanical Company. Visit our website: www.isny.nyc Summary Reporting directly to the VP of Water & Wastewater, you will be responsible for Strategy, Execution, and General Management of Industrial Solutions of New York (ISNY). This responsibility will include leading all aspects of the organization to deliver or exceed annual budget sales and profit growth by focusing on, caring for, and advancing the interests of our people, suppliers, and customers. Leading with a Safety-first mindset will be required for this role, advancing our culture of safety within the respective businesses. Develop the 3-year business strategy, annual budgets, and execute the respective operative plans to deliver on these business commitments. Ensure rigorous financial and business management of these businesses leveraging financial tools of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow with a keen eye to deliver on EBITDA and Working Capital goals and objectives. Responsibilities Ensure Safety First culture, mindset, and operations within respective businesses. Develop and refresh annually 3-year Business Strategy. General Management (P&L) of the business to meet or exceed annual budget commitments. Establish, direct, and manage all sales and repair service activities. Build, develop, and manage a world-class team capable of achieving revenue and growth targets. Create and execute business expansion plans through strategic focus, planning, and initiatives. Recruit, hire, train, mentor, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the team has the appropriate level of accountability. Provide regular business forecasts including Monthly and Quarterly business reviews. Ensure rigorous Capex and OPEX Business management. Effectively and rigorously manage Working Capital to include managing Inventory in line with company goals and objectives with a lean approach meeting customer and market on-time delivery needs while comprehensively managing AR/AP team striving for no past dues or bad debt. Design and implement incentive programs to reward sales and service team. Maintain key customer and supplier relationships. Increase wallet share of existing customers while driving new customer expansion. Continuously cultivate and grow portfolio with sound supplier management driving strategic and economic partnerships. Requirements Extensive business, sales, repair service, and operations experience. Minimum 5 years of P&L management. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Industrial Equipment industry. Documented history of leading, developing, and coaching sales and service teams with a deep understanding of rotating equipment, repair service, and its value to the organization. Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an established network of contacts. Experience in a high-volume sales and service environment. Strong work ethic combined with a collaborative and teaming approach. Strong sales leadership competence, embracing CRM to drive sales rigor and accountability. Proficient computer and technical skills including working knowledge of CRM, ERP, E-Commerce software solutions. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel requirements would be approximately 30% of the time in the Greater NYC area in support of the outside sales & service teams and for market expansion/growth initiatives.
