The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and pharmacy regulations. This position requires a strong and aseptic techniques, particularly in acute and critical care environments.Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain medication inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving shipments. Prepare IV medications following aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions regarding medications and their usage. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management for patients. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication orders, and patient information. Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.Requirements Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred; experience in a hospital setting is highly valued. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practices. infusion techniques and critical care protocols is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
