Clinical Technician 2 - PIMC Unit with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus
Shift: PRN
Schedule: PRN - 12hrs.
Training Schedule: Candidate must be able to attend required six week training orientation upon hire

Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
* Provides direct care to patients (under direct supervision of registered nurse) whose care requirements are routine and standardized * Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others. * Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records. * Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines. * Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families. * Preceptor for all new Clinical Technicians
Requirements:
* Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completed * Education: High School diploma or equivalent. * Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire (from the American Heart Association) * Training: Candidate must be able to attend six week training orientation upon hire * Special Skills: Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required
