Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant Orthopedic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Orthopedic SurgeryDiscipline: Physician AssistantStart Date: 01/20/2025Duration: 26 weeksShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: Locum Tenens Need an APP with experience, # of traumas can vary daily, APP would be expected to round, assist in OR and respond to ED pages.
There will be 2 APP's on during day, 1 at night.\n\nSuturing, comfortable performing fracture reductions, comfortable being independent then calling Trauma or Orthopaedic surgeons for backup, should have experience as an OR assist.\n\nDay Shifts of 8-12 hours and after hours calls.
Off site with call back.\n\nPractice Setting: Inpatient\n\nCoverage Type: Call Only\n\nEMR System: Cerner\n\n5-10 patients per day\n\nLic in PA ony to present\n\n60-120 days to cred\n\nACLS\n\nShifts are 7a-7p during the week and call is 7p-7a off site. Weekend shifts are 7a-3p, offsite call is 3p-7a.\n\nrounding, consults, ER, and first assist OR for orthopedic trauma cases at a level 2 trauma center.About Floyd Lee Locums
