Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Superintendent for the Hospitality/Condo sector in the Construction industry. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for construction and hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all field operations, managing project schedules, and ensuring that quality standards are met. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in hotel construction, field operations, Procore, and ground up construction, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Manage field operations to ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless execution of projects. Use Procore project management software to track project progress, manage change orders, and communicate with stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards. Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making on design and construction issues. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, specifically in hotel and condominium construction. Proficient in using Procore project management software. Extensive experience in all phases of construction, from ground up to completion. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Willingness to travel and work at different project sites.
