Your Role

  1. Be responsible for the architecture of a functional area of the technology stack (i.e. API layer, metrics and logging, infrastructure, etc).
  2. Collaborate with product stakeholders and engineers to design, implement, document, and maintain full-stack applications and features for existing applications.
  3. Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience using Git for version control.
  • Experience with frontend development workflows, languages (i.e. JavaScript, TypeScript), and tooling (i.e. web browser developer tools).
  • Solid experience as a Python developer.
  • Experience with backend development workflows, frameworks (Django), and tooling (i.e. debuggers, profilers).
  • Experience working with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and related tooling.
  • Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems (Docker, Docker Compose, etc).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working with infrastructure as code tooling (i.e Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Experience working with multiple cloud providers (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure, Linode, DigitalOcean).
