Your Role
Gensler is seeking a Director of Treasury to join the corporate finance team onsite in either our Los Angeles, Oakland, or San Francisco office. The Director of Treasury is a key leadership role responsible for managing the firm's treasury and cash operations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across different teams while overseeing all banking relationships, including the credit line facility. In addition, you will ensure the firm maintains optimal cash flow and liquidity across its 53 global offices while securing and managing operational credit facilities, letters of credit and surety bonds. Your strong leadership, attention to detail, organizational skills, and deep passion for building relationships will be critical to your success.

What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a team of experienced Treasury professionals centralized in the U.S., ensuring efficient day to day operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and liquidity strategies to support business operations and optimize the return on the firm's excess cash.
- Administer banking platforms, monitor transaction activity, and ensure cost efficient services.
- Monitor and report on the firm's financial covenants to ensure compliance with the line of credit agreement.
- Collaborate with the firm's accounting, tax, legal, and regional teams to evaluate operational considerations with entering new markets or executing projects across the globe.
- Lead treasury financial modeling and analysis, including, consolidated cash forecasting, collections reporting, daily cash positioning, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Report to senior management on the firm's global operational cash and investment balances, as well as progress towards quarterly client invoice collection goals.
- Make strategic recommendations on funding strategies across markets within which the firm operates.
- Develop, implement, and maintain bank account structures that align with the firm's global growth strategies.
- Evaluate foreign currency risks and recommend strategies aligned with firm goals.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA and/or Certified Treasury Professional certification is a plus
- 10-15 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or related functions
- Minimum of 5 years managing teams
- Strong understanding of corporate treasury management, including cash management, foreign currency exchange and credit facilities
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, including forecasting, trend analysis, and presenting financial data to senior management and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with banks, credit institutions, and other financial partners
- Proficiency in Kyriba or other treasury management systems and financial software
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, develop insights, and recommend actionable strategies
- High accuracy and attention to detail in managing case flows and financial projections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and persuasively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel modeling, PowerPoint presentation etc.
- Self-starter with ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit
Compensation
In Los Angeles, the compensation range is between $150-180k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience. In the Bay area, the compensation range is between $175-195k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
