SherlockTalent is seeking an AI Infrastructure & Data Engineer to establish and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure while driving the development of data ingestion pipelines that support all engineering initiatives.

Core Strengths:

• Primary Focus: Infrastructure Layer Development
• Secondary Focus: Data Ingestion Pipelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
• Design and automate infrastructure architecture with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines to extract, normalize, and load data from CRMs, marketing automation tools, and sales acceleration platforms.
• Perform data cleaning, normalization, and transformation to ensure data quality and consistency (in collaboration with the Data Scientist).
• Manage database and storage solutions to optimize data retrieval, storage, and performance (in coordination with the Application Engineer).
• Develop and enforce infrastructure standards to support all engineering teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades as necessary to maintain high availability.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and proficiency in managing scalable infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, including data normalization and transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with database management and storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate deployment and improve system reliability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or data-related challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with big data tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, or similar.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based infrastructures.
