Position Overview:
As the System Hardware Architect, you will join our technical leadership, responsible for the hardware architecture of high-performance AI platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hardware design with software development and market needs, lead a team of experts in the discovery, design, and deployment of cutting-edge hardware solutions, navigate through complex engineering challenges, turning obstacles into opportunities for innovation.

What you’ll do:
Lead the design and development of platform HW architecture.
Create detailed platform hardware specifications, including block diagrams, interfaces, and component selection to guide the design and development teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional domains, including SoC, Package, PCB, Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical, and Technology, and develop system specifications that consider trade-offs between power/performance and cost.
Lead the team of hardware engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring projects are successful.
Coordinate with the BIOS/OS teams to lead platform power on and provide all inputs from the platform side to the validation teams.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to optimize hardware components and interfaces for performance and efficiency.
Lead prototype development and validation efforts to demonstrate system feasibility, performance targets, and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance.
Establish quality assurance processes and standards for hardware development.
Define and conduct reliability testing plans to validate system robustness, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Lead product qualification activities according to industry standards and regulations. Prepare documentation and reports for qualification tests and certifications.
Closely follow academic researchers and industry developments in HPC and AI architectures for training and inference applications.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of industry experience in system architecture design and development.
Solid track record of successful platform hardware designs.
Experience with IP/technology development and integration is an added advantage.
Expertise in semiconductor technologies, digital/analog circuit design, high-speed interfaces (SerDes, HBM, PCIe), and familiarity with industry-standard design tools (Cadence), simulation software, and motherboard design methodologies
