Superintendent - Ground Up Commercial Construction

The Superintendent will manage and direct their own projects up to $30M or several smaller projects at one time. Will also be engaged with managing and guiding more junior superintendents on their projects.

Our client is a well established General Contractor in Miami-Dade County that focuses on Commercial Construction (Ground up and Renovation) and has been in the market for over 30 years.
Description
- Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate on-site activities and manage subcontractors and laborers effectively.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all work complies with OSHA standards and project safety plans.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
- Monitor work progress and quality, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate regular meetings and provide updates on project progress.
- Maintain accurate project logs, including daily reports, change orders, and inspections.
Profile
- 10 + years of Commercial Construction Experience
- 5+ years as a Lead Superintendent
- Strong tenure with employers
- Tilt Wall experience preferred
- Strong experience with ProCore or similar software
- Must be safety oriented: OSHA 30
- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
