Description: Employment Defense Attorney
Primarily Remote (Auburn/Sacramento, CA)
TemPositions is excited to partner with a small but growing employment defense firm in the Sacramento area to find an experienced Employment Defense Attorney. This primarily remote role offers flexibility, with occasional travel to the Auburn area for court appearances and training in the first few months.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $150K - $200K (full-time)
Flexibility to work part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time
No billable hour requirements
Opportunities for leadership as the firm grows
Responsibilities:
Provide employment law advice to HR professionals, corporations, and attorneys
Represent employers in employment defense litigation and court appearances
Work independently on cases from start to finish
Assist with preventative legal advice to clients
Qualifications:
Licensed attorney in California with 2+ years of employment law defense experience
Litigation and court experience required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Knowledge of California employment law is a must
