Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewThe ServiceNow Architect plays a crucial role in the design and implementation of solutions using the ServiceNow platform, enabling organizations to automate and improve their IT service management processes. This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem and its capabilities, emphasizing seamless integration with other business applications and services. The architect serves as a key leader in strategizing improvements, ensuring that the solutions align closely with business goals and meet user requirements effectively. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role involves translating complex requirements into scalable solutions, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and driving digital transformation within the enterprise. The ServiceNow Architect is not only responsible for technical expertise but also for mentoring junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and leveraging best practices to maximize the value of the ServiceNow platform across the organization.Key Responsibilities Design and develop ServiceNow solutions tailored to business needs. Lead architectural discussions to determine the best technical solutions. Implement best practices in ServiceNow configuration and customization. Integrate ServiceNow with external platforms using APIs and web services. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Migrate legacy systems and processes to the ServiceNow platform. Conduct regular assessments on system performance and usability. Develop comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and processes. Provide support for ServiceNow upgrades and patch management. Train and mentor teams on ServiceNow best practices and advanced functionalities. Ensure compliance with ITIL and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with vendors and third-party services for seamless integrations. Create and manage ServiceNow instances for development and testing. Monitor system health and perform troubleshooting as needed. Participate in project planning and deliver stakeholder presentations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture and design. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification (ITSM ). Proven experience in integrations with other platforms. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and practices. Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. Understanding of scripting such as JavaScript and Glide. Knowledge of database design and SQL fundamentals. Experience in cloud-based solutions and management. Willingness to stay up-to-date with evolving ServiceNow features and capabilities.
