About the Role: HR GeneralistThe HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting critical HR operations, payroll, and administrative processes with precision and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in HRIS systems, payroll, recruitment, and employee benefits. They must possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills and demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Assist with front-end payroll tasks on a bi-weekly basis, including pay data entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and process employment verifications, unemployment claims, and wage garnishment orders with accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
- Serve as the 1st point of contact for payroll, benefits, and general HR inquiries, escalating more complex matters as needed.
- Provide administrative support in daily HR operations, including maintaining and updating employee records within the HRIS.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and programs, including health insurance, 401k, and open enrollment processes.
- Support the recruitment process by updating job descriptions, posting job opportunities, reviewing candidate applications, and coordinating interview schedules.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including new hire paperwork, I-9 documentation, background checks, benefits enrollment, and policy acknowledgements.
- Collaborate on HR projects and processes, including performance reviews, policy updates, and compliance initiatives.
- Plan and organize HR events such as employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and recognition programs.
- Foster and promote a positive and award-winning company culture by consistently showcasing the Bath Experts' values and our commitment to the community, customers, and our employees.
- 1-2 years of professional experience. Experience in HR, payroll, recruitment, or related preferred.
- Previous experience with HRIS and ATS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software.
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proactive mindset and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred but not required.
