We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and responsible for ensuring they have a smooth, pleasant, and efficient checkout experience. You will handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and assist with customer inquiries. A strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, provide assistance, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Cash Register Operation: Accurately scan and process merchandise, apply discounts, and handle returns/exchanges.
• Maintain Cash Drawer: Ensure cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift and report discrepancies to management.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a basic knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
• Store Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Resolve Customer Concerns: Address and resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet customer needs and store goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
