Accounting Clerk (AP/AR)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Worksite Location: 100% Onsite in Glenview, IL
Pay: $22-23/hour (DOE)
Long term temporary with a possibility of extension and/or conversion to permanent in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Process and manage outgoing bills and invoices.
Maintain records of expenditures.
Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
Prepare and disburse payments for company credit cards.
Accounts Receivable:
Prepare and send invoices to customers.
Post payments to customer accounts.
Reconcile cash receipts and deposits.
Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Prepare reports on customer payment profiles and outstanding balances.
General Duties:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist with month-end closing activities.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes.
Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
