Performs technical planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of Internet technologies. Web Application Developer :
$108,000 - $118,000 per year Pay commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Web Application Developer Responsibilities Include: Configures and maintains Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server software. Leads the development of web-based software applications utilizing JAVA, .NET, HTML, XML, AJAX, and other web technologies Provides documentation and training materials for internal and external users. Assist in the documentation of new and developed applications. Supports SQL Server patching and upgrades. Develops and assists in the development of SQL queries. Audits, modifies, and amends data in systems using SQL commands, hand-editing, bulk import, etc. Develops and assists in the development of reports using products such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, SQL Server Report Builder, Tableau, and Power BI. Monitors daily DB job processes, transaction logs, backups, notifications, space utilization, etc. and supports follow-up on any errors or irregularities. Performs complex technical, analytical and professional services involving program/member services, evaluation, database-driven Web sites, office operations support, and problem resolution. Provide technical assistance and participate on proposal writing projects when applicable. Attends relevant seminars, scientific conferences, and meetings for the MRSN program. Ensures that IT programs comply with Federal, DA, and MEDCOM regulations and policies. Collects and analyzes internet service usage and performance statistics. Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), templates, and forms, (including, but not limited to, statistical programming plan SOP and template). Strong collaboration skills are required with Project Team Members. Design, develop, modify, maintain, document and enhance new as well as existing web-based applications, modules and tools. Designs web-based applications in support of the MRSN program. Performs technical planning and testing implementation of internet technologies. Monitors the functionality, security, and integrity of deployed internet services. Resolves technical problems with current and new applications, as well as Internet services. Researches and evaluates new technologies for web-based application development. Assist in architecting and implementation of a robust, secure authentication/authorization system for MRSN internal and external applications. Unit / QA testing to insure deployment and application success. Assist in review/development of technical designs, reports, documentation, and other materials produced by staff. Maintains and administers Web server and middleware tools used to develop Web database systems and framework. Supports SQL Server STIG reviews, remediation, and documentation to maintain compliance with Federal, DoD, ARMY and MRDC and other regulations and policies. Provides all job-related progress reports/technical reports as requested. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Web Application Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: M.S. or B.A./B.S. Computer Science or related field preferred Must have an active Secret Clearance. Must hold an active Comp TIA Security + certification Current/active industry certification in web-based application development technology (C#.net; ASP; HTML5). 1-3 years of experience in building Web-based applications/sites, object-oriented design and development in .NET 4.5+ Environments. 1-3 years of experience in Entity Framework, MVC Framework, Bootstrap, JAVA script, C#.NET, jQuery, LINQ to SQL, HTML, CSS and IIS implementation and management. Recent experience building Multi-tier Web applications/Sites for the DoD preferred. Understanding of at least one source control / versioning tool (Git, GitHub, TFS, SVN, Mercurial, etc.) is desired.
