Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance, and other worker operations to establish standard production rates and to improve efficiency.
• Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.
• Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment and engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plan.
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, then testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm and validate manufacturing process.
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven experience with casting, machining, welding, and working with exotic alloys.
• Proficiency in Mastercam and Syteline.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering concepts - such as production control, cost reduction, and systems analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
• Excellent communication, cooperation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the respective country.
