Job Description

Oversee and maintain quality of outsourced tax returns for indirect taxes in the U.S. and Canada

Proactively manage indirect tax audits and respond to tax notices

Collaborate with others in finance and the business to advise on indirect tax matters

Respond to inquiries from customers and business partners

Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and regulations to determine any impact on the business

Maintain and reconcile indirect tax balance sheet accounts

Identify tax exposures of potential acquisitions through due diligence

Assist the Financial Systems team in managing tax technology applicable to the indirect tax function

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree.

Minimum 8 years of indirect tax experience.

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience managing indirect tax audits with direct interaction with tax authorities

Ability to work effectively as a leader, part of a team and as an individual contributor

History of managing external consultants

Understanding of SAAS environment and taxability of digital products a plus
