We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Vice President, Fund Reporting Manager II Alternative Investments
to join the
Financial Statement Reporting
team. This role is located in
Everett, MA - Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Manages 3-5 staff employees preparing and reviewing financial reports on behalf of assigned clients and funds. Manages the performance of assigned staff and sets team priorities.
Directs and sets priorities for processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Resolves escalated issues from team members.
Oversees relationships with auditors and clients to ensure changes to financial reports are made accurately and completely, working towards any mandatory deadlines. Resolves and answers any client or auditor inquiries regarding the financial statements.
Ensures financial reporting production cycle meets client and any applicable regulatory standards and deadlines. Reviews financials to ensure accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and disclosure requirements.
Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages multiple teams of Fund Reporting staff.
Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives, talent management, and supervision of team members.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required, with 10+ years of total work experience.
5+ years of management experience preferred.
Experience in investment company, private equity, and/or hedge fund financial reporting and accounting and/or public accounting preferred.
