We are currently seeking a Channel Sales Manager to manage our Central US Region Channel Sales initiatives.
In this position, you will play a key role in partner recruitment, partner enablement, partner introductions to your team, generating partner events, and creating winning strategies with focus partners. The Channel Account Manager will work closely with the Director of Channel Sales and the Regional Vice President of Sales. Responsibilities:
Work closely with the company’s direct Sales team to promote scale and maximum territory coverage. Recruit key partners in your territory and create interest in leading with Corelight. Enable partners through training your partner management team, sales team, pre-sales team, and post sales team. Introduce and nurture relationships between the partner sales and SE team and our AE and SE team. Work with your channel partners to build lead generation events. Set up a winning strategy with our key/focus partners, measure the results, and meet quarterly with the partner management team to review. Work with channel marketing to ensure partners are up to date with the most recent news about Corelight, our programs, our spiffs, our vertical, and our products. Conduct highly effective presentations to all levels in organizations. Some travel is required across the Western region including Western Canada, and our San Francisco headquarters. Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS technical degree or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience working in a Channel Account Manager Role. Prior experience working as a Channel Account Manager for a security or network infrastructure vendor. Vendors who might have offered: SIEM, EDR, IPS, IDS, Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches, route, switch, and telco infrastructure. Self-motivated to deliver above sales goals. Strong communication skills. Strong presentation skills both internally and externally. Preferred Qualifications:
Have existing relationships and knowledge of key security partners such as OPTIV, Guidepoint, Defy, Fishtech, Presidio, Sirius, ePlus, Novacoast, Armature, EVOTEK, and others. Proven ability to communicate with partners at all levels within an organization and set up executive meetings and quarterly business reviews. Experience with Distribution. Experience with Carahsoft. Demonstrates thorough preparation for all partner meetings and activities.
