Figma
Software Engineer - Enterprise
Figma, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products - from start to finish. Whether it's consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone - come make with us!
Our Enterprise teams ensure our largest customers have the tools to manage access, and organize their work inside Figma. We solve direct customer problems, but also own the technical foundations in authorization, file sharing and user management which powers Figma's growing product suite. The Enterprise team is focused on three areas:
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
The IAM team owns foundational technology that empowers Figma to deliver secure, convenient, and scalable access to our customers. Sharing and real-time collaboration is the core of what makes Figma magic as a browser-first tool, and the IAM team owns the systems that make this possible across a growing suite of products. The IAM team also owns the user's identity, and we leverage industry standards, such as SAML, SCIM, to provide seamless SSO experience.
Scale
The Scale team aims to enable companies in all industries to manage their Figma instances efficiently and securely. We are a team of full-stack engineers focusing on building products that serve our largest and most sophisticated customers. We unlock the opportunity for customers in more traditional industries to adopt Figma in their product development cycle, and we ensure Figma admins have the right tools to manage their people and content. Beyond engineering, we frequently collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to address challenges for our top-tier customers. If you are passionate about solving problems at scale, join us!
Workflow
The Workflow team is on a mission to empower teams of every size to seamlessly share, organize, and secure their work. We're a team of full-stack engineers passionate about pushing the limits of sharing - reducing friction to collaboration while also upholding strict security boundaries across Figma's suite of products. Our work includes reimagining core content models and file organization patterns to meet the evolving needs of modern, cross-functional teams. If you're excited by user-facing work and thrive on tackling complex technical challenges - from revolutionizing online sharing to enhancing high-performance permission systems - then we're the team for you!
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
You will be a key contributor to Figma's growth as we expand our product offering. Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to define the team's vision, technical direction, and roadmap. Define and execute on engineering projects to enable our Enterprise customers to be successful with Figma at massive scale. Mentor and collaborate with high-performing engineers. You'll contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and calculated risk-taking.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
4+ years working as a professional software engineer. Proven track record of identifying opportunities and successfully shipping high-quality products in high growth environments. Strong cross-team and functional collaboration skills. Experience mentoring other engineers and promoting a collaborative team culture.
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Expertise with Ruby, TypeScript, React, and/or PostgreSQL. Prior work experience in B2B SaaS and working with enterprise customers.
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills.
