The Luminate Data Platform team's mission is to serve as the backbone of Blue Yonder's SaaS products. This team builds software that leverages data engineering frameworks and cutting-edge open source technologies. Core responsibilities include: Focusing on innovation and improving delivery effectiveness by driving product development features across the organization in software development, deployment, and infrastructure consistency. Providing standardized enterprise solutions for cloud infrastructure and application deployment across multiple products. Applying appropriate software engineering patterns utilizing a meta-driven systems approach to build robust and scalable systems. Influencing fellow engineers by proposing software designs and providing feedback on software designs and/or implementation. Demonstrating experience in large-scale Kubernetes systems, including how to scale very large services in Kubernetes. Designing modular and service-based architectures. Being a quick learner in a growing global team across the US, Canada, India, and Germany. Our Current Technical Environment

Scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant microservices architecture. Cloud Architecture:

Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NoSQL, RDBMS, Spring Boot, Snowflake. What You'll Do

Craft robust distributed systems that achieve both short and long-term business goals. Communicate well across the organization to help define technical strategies and design tactics to execute them. Write clean, performant code and keep up with best practices. Work in an agile development environment, focusing on high-value tasks. Mentor others and disseminate knowledge. Drive cultural change in technology to become a truly Agile team. Collaborate with application teams for the adoption of a single Data platform. Evaluate and coach other senior engineers on technical and interpersonal best practices. What We Are Looking For

Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of 12+ years of Software Engineering experience with leadership roles across the full technology stack using Java and microservices. Demonstrated organizational impact by championing engineering principles like SOLID, TDD, OO design, etc. A passion for mentoring and sharing best practices. Strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders. Experience building robust, highly available, and scalable data lakes. Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores like Elasticsearch, Postgres, Snowflake. Expertise in continuous integration and robust build/test automation. Experience in public cloud technology stacks (Azure, AWS, GCP). Experience with Docker containerization and cloud services. Strong analytical skills for managing complex problems. Experience in leading complex software product delivery in an Agile environment. Experience with enterprise multi-tenant software. The Salary Range for this position is $152,889.00 to $216,924.03. The salary range reflects the anticipated base salary based on current national data. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors.
