About The Team
The Product Partnerships team accelerates the growth and innovation of DoorDash’s Marketplace and Platform (Drive, Storefront, Catapult) businesses by sourcing and building new technology partnerships. This team collaborates closely with DoorDash's senior leadership to evaluate the competitive landscape and make informed strategic choices regarding building, acquiring, or partnering, as we strive to offer the best range of services to our merchants.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Director to join our Product Partnerships team. As a Senior Director, you will lead the strategic direction and business development work to accelerate the growth and innovation of DoorDash's Marketplace and Platform (Drive, Storefront, Catapult) businesses.
We seek a highly entrepreneurial and strategic individual who enjoys rolling their sleeves and building. You will lead B2B partnerships that enhance DoorDash products and services and drive innovation in our go-to market.
You are a highly effective business development and operator capable of engaging in business-level and P&L-focused conversations with C-level executives at both startups and publicly traded companies. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys diving into financial models and mapping out the P&L implications of potential deal structures. You can lead a complex, multi-party partnership effort in a highly consultative manner.
Finally, you enjoy building stuff; you like to experiment with new ideas and new ways of working to further develop our internal processes in ways that we may not have explored before.

Own all engagement with ecosystem partners - including adding new partners to DoorDash and identifying net new lines of business Lead high visibility and strategically important partnerships and relationships Strategize and develop the optimal strategy and prioritization to grow our business Manage a senior level team that operates the partnerships day-to-day Operationalize the execution of your teams and partnerships to consistently deliver beyond expectations Thrive in sourcing and closing complex, one-of-a-kind deals of various types Collaborate internally and externally for solutions that will help our merchants grow their businesses Identify new lines of business in partnership with third parties Build and craft consensus on new business cases and go-to-market strategies
We’re Excited About You Because You Have...
15+ years of experience in business development or commercial strategy within both startup and larger enterprise organizations Experience leading high-stakes, analysis-driven negotiations and establishing large-scale partnerships at the C-level Extensive experience in sourcing and closing complex, one-of-a-kind deals Deep understanding of marketplaces and logistic industries Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with financial models Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments Experience in investment banking with an understanding of deal structuring, financial analysis, and strategic consulting is a plus
