Job Description:
Developing and building out new react components on the individual investor dashboard (main web page / first thing a user sees) - visual components, and some back-end dev (java)
Hands-on coding - 70% front-end react, 30% back end java (leaning heavier on the front end)
50% hands-on coding and 50% leading team, strategy, etc.
Leading an Agile team of back-end and front-end developers (team of 6)
Working with the architecture team, passing design down to the execution team, code some complex components (data relationships can be difficult - taking into account all of the different business rules)
Requirements:
8+ years of full-stack development expertise
Strong UI development skills in React
Backend Java skills
Experience developing Springboot microservices on AWS infrastructure
Java spring-boot running on EC2
Leadership skills - not necessarily "management” but mentoring or leading is fine
Soft Skills: ability to coach developers & consult/advise business leaders, collaborative, team player, self-starter/self-motivator (someone who stays proactively current with technology, does not wait for the company to invest in them)
