Safe Harbors Behavioral Health Outpatient team serves the general population with a wide range of ages and diverse client populations. In this position you will be expected to provide individual and group therapy as well as occasional intakes (psychosocial interviews). In this role, you will be providing services based out of our satellite sites, either at our primary care office or a school setting, dependent on area of interest. Our primary care setting services individuals across the lifespan, whereas our school-based settings targets children ranging from first through twelfth grades. We provide many free CEU training opportunities as well as the opportunity to expand experience through employee led committees/presentations. \nTo qualify for this position, you must be activity licensed- LPC or LCSW. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, daylight hours. 3-year work commitment -$10,000\n\nResponsibilities: \n\nTherapy & Education: \n\nProvide individual and group therapy to patients in various settings (home, school, community, etc). Educate patients on recovery. \nUse evidence-based treatment methods. \n\nAssessments & Treatment Planning: \n\nConduct assessments for new patients and create comprehensive treatment plans. \nParticipate in treatment team meetings, review patient treatment plans, and make recommendations. \nAssess changing patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly. \nDevelop and implement new treatment approaches. \n\nReferrals: \n\nDiscuss additional services and refer patients as needed. \n\nRecord Keeping & Documentation: \n\nMaintain daily records of clinical activity including assessments, treatment sessions, and other patient-related work. \nManage administrative work related to patient care. \n\nQuality Assurance: \n\nParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. \nParticipate in the mentoring of student interns. \n\n\nMaster's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.\nTwo years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.\nKnowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.\nClinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)\nAct 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal\nAct 33 with renewal\nAct 34 with renewal\nAct 73 FBI Clearance with renewal\n\n UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
