Jan 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description: One full-time clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Neurological Surgery for a Board Certified or Board Eligible neuro-oncology focused neurosurgeon. Position entails joining a multidisciplinary academic neurosurgery practice, including elective practice and shared neurosurgical trauma call at a Level One Trauma Center. The department is comprised of neurosurgeons, neurosurgical residents, spine physiatrists, neurointensivists and specially trained Advanced Practice Providers in an academic setting with research opportunities. Qualifications Required Qualifications: MD, DO (or foreign equivalent). Completion of an ACGME neurosurgical residency program. Board Eligible/Board Certified by ABNS or AOA in Neurosurgery. Must have New York State medical license upon hire and be eligible for one upon application. Fellowship training or additional specialized training/extensive experience in Neurosurgical-Oncology. Preferred Qualifications: Possession of the skills necessary to cover pediatric emergencies. Possession of PhD (or foreign equivalent). Evidence of interest in clinical or basic research.
