The Department of Human Services is seeking a leader and visionary to oversee all professional, medical, and administrative operations at the South Mountain Restoration Center (SMRC). This 159-bed long-term care facility provides services for individuals with a background of psychiatric illness, those who have lived for extended periods in state centers, and those who have been formerly incarcerated. In this position, you will provide the vision, drive strategic initiatives, and oversee the implementation of all clinical and operational practices to ensure the effective delivery of integrated services at SMRC. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust clinical and operational controls to fulfill the organization's mission while promoting financial stability and operational excellence. Additionally, you will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure modern best practices are consistently applied to provide the highest quality care to residents. This position demands a high level of initiative and independent judgment, with direct accountability for developing and executing all operational policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and department laws and regulations.
Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Seven years of professional human services or health care program experience that includes three years in a mental health or residential care and treatment facility, including two years in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor’s degree;
or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years in a mental health or residential care and treatment facility, including two years in a supervisory capacity. Special Requirement: This position in a state restoration center requires possession of an active license as a Nursing Home Administrator as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
