An outpatient pulmonary clinic with 100% adult patients is seeking a pulmonologist for locum tenens coverage. Worksite resources include Lab onsite, Xray, and PFT. Tacoma, WA, situated on beautiful Puget Sound, has a wealth of cultural opportunities, outdoor activities, restaurants, parks, and wildlife. Point Defiance Park brings visitors and residents in touch with fine beaches, hiking through old-growth forests, botanical gardens, and historic sites. The role involves working in an outpatient clinic, 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with to 1 day weekly for procedures like bronchoscopy. Providers manage outpatient pulmonology, interpret PFTs performed by RTs, and handle ventilation management, BiPAP/CPAP, and bronchoscopy. Internal medicine experience is preferred.
