Job Summary The Lead I - DevOps Engineering role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying adapters and platforms while managing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure provisioning. This position requires hands-on experience in scripting, troubleshooting network issues, and configuring DevOps tools. The candidate will provide mentorship, create SOPs, and facilitate improvements to process efficiency. Strong collaboration, technical expertise, and leadership are critical to successfully supporting diverse teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy adapters/platforms in lab environments • Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot network-related issues in the lab • Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and software • Automate infrastructure provisioning both on-premises and on the cloud • Develop and support scripts (Perl, Python, Unix Shell) to automate installation, configuration, and build/deployment tasks • Configure CI/CD pipelines to enable application development and support teams • Mentor team members, provide guidance, and perform code reviews • Facilitate automation to improve efficiency and deliver cost-saving measures • Develop and deliver training plans and SOPs for DevOps Engineers and users • Onboard and extend existing tools to support new application development teams • Monitor and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of processes • Prepare stakeholder status updates and ensure alignment with project goals Required Qualifications • 8 years of experience in Perl scripting • 8 years of experience in Python programming • 8 years of hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems • 8 years of experience in Unix Shell scripting • Strong experience designing, configuring, and managing CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in automating infrastructure provisioning and deployments • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Hadoop and Kafka • Network/Telecom domain knowledge • Experience in web development • Experience in configuring cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes • Experience integrating with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Education: Bachelors Degree
