Description The Leidos National Security Sector is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator who will play a vital role in supporting the G2 Army MI Enterprise / SENTINEL program. This program is dedicated to providing top-notch IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure the secure and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. As the ideal candidate, you will oversee Systems Administrator duties, providing direct support to DAMI-IM enterprise networked systems and managing Microsoft server infrastructure solutions within a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise environment. Primary Responsibilities: Administer Active Directory services, member servers, and storage solutions; integrate cutting-edge technologies into existing systems, including the transition and migration of enterprise systems. Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues spanning applications, operating systems, hardware, and communications infrastructure. Lead, manage, and execute government-approved projects as documented in the ticketing system. Perform systems administration on desktop and server systems connected to both local and wide area networks. Manage desktop systems responsibilities, including account monitoring, security, operating system installation, and other local area system administration tasks. Facilitate the transition and migration of networks while developing network addressing schemes and managing Microsoft domains. Conduct a variety of analytical tasks concerning design and implementation, including aspects related to personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities/equipment. Provide input during in-progress reviews on IT projects and maintain effective communication with government and site leadership. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience (additional relevant experience may substitute for degree qualifications). Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance is required. Possession of DoD 8570 (8140) certification at IAT II, CompTIA Security CE or higher is mandatory. Certification in Microsoft Azure or 365 or related fields or the ability to obtain the certification post-hire. Advanced expertise in designing, evaluating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server 2019 and familiarity with current technologies. Proficient in upgrading Windows Server from 2019 to 2022, with strong skills in planning, delivering, operating, and managing Microsoft server infrastructure solutions within a DoD environment. Expert knowledge of operational support activities for administering Windows Server and desktop infrastructure. Experience using Microsoft terminal services and system recovery tools. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with systems and tools such as ACAS, Azure, DHCP, DNS, HBSS, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, SCCM, SharePoint, SQL, SMTP, and VMware. Understanding of help desk ticketing software (Microsoft System Center and ServiceNow). Advanced knowledge of PowerShell and the ability to create custom scripts as needed. Understanding of the Army enterprise environment. Experience with patch management and system upgrades in classified settings. Customer-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills. This position is located at the Pentagon. Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 Leidos offers a competitive pay range for this job, considering responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
