Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details General job duties. Types of procedures required. Cardiac Monitoring, Anti arrhythmia infusions. Post op Open heart surgery, thoracotomy, AMI/Stemi. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Computerized charting, scanning of medications, telemetry. Job Requirements Min 2 years recent Tele experience. Cardiac Monitoring experience. Active MD or compact state RN license. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts, every other weekend. No call. Holidays. Never alone. Unit Specific Information 30 bed unit Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:4-6. Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs. Test for cardiac monitoring and drug competency. 2 shifts on floor orientation. Additional Details NIHSS required. Active American Heart Assoc ACLS required. Active American Heart Assoc BLS required. Cardiac Monitoring experience required.
