Certification Details BLS PALS ACLS NRP (preferred) TNCC (strongly preferred) Job Details ED RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW – 36hrs. Traveler will Rotate to New Observation Unit when requested. Unit Name: Emergency Department. Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area. Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience. Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4. Patient Population: All. Bed Count: 65. Census: 230 visits/day. EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP. Floating Required: Yes. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate. Job Requirements BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred). Schedule Information 36 hours per week with rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend. Unit Specific Information Unit Name: Emergency Department. 65-Bed Emergency Department Pod-based layout with separate pediatric pod and Acute Mental Health area. Patient-to-clinician ratio of 1:4.
