About The Position Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Radiation Oncology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Ada & Ardmore, OK • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: 2 days per week initially; 8a-6p • Call Schedule: TBD • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Call Ratio: 1:3 • Call-backs: Not many • Phone Consults: 1-2 • Patient Volume: 10-25 • Admissions Required: Yes • Required Procedures: - External Beam Therapy (EBRT)-Linear Accelerator: Rapid Arc/VMAT & Electrons - Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body radiation therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS): all types. - Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT & PET CT or MRI Image Fusion. • Beds in Dept: 1-2 • Trauma Level: III • EMR: Epic • Other Info: Some travel required between Ada and Ardmore, distance is approx. 60 miles. • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes • Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered
