The ideal candidate will have experience with labor relations, change management, and will have experience in the manufacturing industry.

Running point on labor relations, change management, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations for our 100+ hourly and 100+ salaried employees.Day to Day Responsibilities: Serves as the HR business partner in the areas of compensation, employee engagement, employee relations, compliance, metrics, staffing and performance management systems programs for all teammates at the plant. Identifies staff vacancies and collaborates with managers/talent acquisition team for candidate selection and successful onboarding of new teammates. Provide direction, counsel/coaching, and analytics to help leaders make talent decisions and promote employee engagement and positive employee relations Partners with union bargaining committees to manage labor relations and contract administration. Monitors compliance with all state and federally mandated leaves of absences/accommodation policies and programs (FMLA, USERRA, ADA). Analyzes training needs and drafts salaried and hourly HR-related employee development plans. Develops and facilitates various training programs, including orientation and safety related trainings. Organizes culture-enhancing events. Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assignedRequired Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 3+ years HR experience within Manufacturing Industry Management Experience Strong HRIS undertanding Union + Labor Relations experience Change Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Steel / Automotive / Meat Processing Plant experience Workday Collective Bargaining negotiationsInterested in hearing more?
