RN Telemetry Per Diem Day shift The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Job Requirements

Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate. Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate. Min. 1 year previous Acute Care hospital experience. Meditech EMR experience preferred. May Float to units of competency. Schedule Information

Ran within 30 days of start. Updated upon expiration. For Covid 19 vaccine is required annually, declination is accepted needs to show for 2024-2025. Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity. Every employee should have the titters to show immunity. For MMR the employee needs to show proof of previous vaccinations or if vaccinated as a child; if decline to take the booster they can complete a declination form.
