Job Description:

Engineering - Manufacturing Manages high complexity design and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling. Adaptation of machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Planning of sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering - Manufacturing Manages high complexity design and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling. Adaptation of machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Planning of sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Troubleshoot and assist in repair of manufacturing floor equipment.
• Engineer equipment improvements and assist in implementation.
• Provide technical support to skilled trades on equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Experience:

The candidate should have experience in manufacturing processes, equipment design, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and project management is essential. A degree in Engineering and proficiency with CAD, ERP, and maintenance software are required.

Skills:

• Manufacturing & Equipment Design: Knowledge of processes, layout planning, and equipment adaptation.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
• Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Project Management & Documentation: Ability to manage projects and create technical documentation.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD, ERP, and maintenance management tools.
