Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. Working under the direction of our Cybersecurity Director, the Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our systems, networks, and data. This role requires a proactive and analytical professional who can stay ahead of evolving cyber threats and ensure the resilience of our security posture. Essential Functions: • Design and deploy security solutions, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection platforms. • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure system architecture • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's systems and data • Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware and phishing attacks • Conduct root cause analyses and implement remediation strategies for security incidents. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks • Coordinate with stakeholders to address and remediate identified vulnerabilities • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures • Assist in the development of playbooks and procedures for incident response activities. • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's security posture • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on security-related issues Qualifications:

Education: • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus • Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

Experience: • Minimum of 3 years in a cybersecurity or related IT role. • Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools. • Strong understanding of networking protocols and secure network design • Experience with networking, operating systems, and Active Directory security. • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and protocols • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) a plus

Position Detail: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Ft Worth Texas, 2 days remote)
